The durable, impact-resistant unibody shell construction features a highly resilient polycarbonate outer shell. Beneath it lies an EPS foam liner that distributes impact forces over a larger surface area, protecting your head from the consequences of falls and impacts. The extended design at the back of the helmet further reinforces its structure, enhancing coverage and protection, while the MIPS™ safety system shields your head from rotational forces, reducing the risk of concussions. These features ensure the helmet exceeds numerous safety certifications. It is certified for e-bike use, meeting the Dutch NTA8776 standard, which tests helmets at higher impact speeds than standard cycling use, making it the only current standard for e-bike helmets. A standout feature of the Kortal is its patented breakaway visor, which detaches during a crash to enhance neck protection and reduce injury risk.
