The Dimension Avalanche Backpack with Alpride Airbag for added protection in high avalanche risk areas combines enhanced safety with a variety of carrying options, making it easy to carry all your gear for a day in the wilderness.

With a capacity of 25L and multiple gear loops on the exterior of the backpack, it makes it easy to carry skis, helmet, ice axe and more.

The adjustable frame in the back panel makes it easy to find a comfortable fit, while the highly adjustable chest and waist straps ensure complete security.

The large pocket on the outside is specifically designed for avalanche tools and is lined with highly durable materials to prevent damage and tearing. The fleece-lined goggle pocket prevents damage to the lenses.

Small drainage holes in the outer pocket mean that water can easily drain from wet gloves or skins, while the rest of your kit stays dry.

Safety is further enhanced with the inclusion of a RECCO® Reflector and twICEme® NFC Medical ID.

The backpack's airbag is powered by a supercapacitor, meaning no gas cylinders or batteries are required, making it easy to travel by plane and giving you the opportunity to test the airbag's performance before heading into the backcountry.

The new Alpride E2 Airbag System surpasses its predecessor (E1) and is a lot smaller and lighter (1140g Alpride System) which ensures that you have more space left in the bag. The Alpride E2 airbag system works with a supercapacitor instead of a Lithium-ion battery. The performance of the supercapacitor is more reliable in cold temperatures and the airbag inflates faster.

The new Alpride E2 engine is 40 percent smaller and 25 percent lighter than the existing Alpride E1 system, with a 162-liter airbag. Like the E1, the E2 is TSA-approved for hassle-free air travel. Last in addition to the storage in the supercapacitor, two AA batteries can be installed for additional activation. The batteries also help keep the supercapacitors fully charged when not in use.
