The other fabric is a ripstop fabric with fleece inside and DWR treatment outside that provides insulation against the strongest wind. A pair of adjustable suspenders, detachable at the waist, improve the fit, and there’s a pocket on the thigh for an avalanche transceiver, an essential self-rescue tool. Finally, the zip at the bottom with a gaiter makes it easy to put the pants on over boots, while the Cordura® inserts provide protection from sharp ski edges.
