FUROSHIKI SHOE THAT WRAPS AROUND YOUR FOOT

Vibram got its inspiration for the FUROSHIKI shoe in Japanese culture, where the tradition of cloth wrapping comes from. Vibram thus created a unique shoe that you put on by wrapping it around your foot. The sole is extremely light and flexible, and acts as a base for the light and elastic Lycra material. You wrap this material around the instep towards the heel and fasten it on the heel with Velcro. This fastening system allows a perfect fit to your foot.

Furoshiki shoes are suitable for everyday wear in your home or an outdoor environment for various activities. They can be simple daily footwear for a walk in the city or you can use them for sports activities, e.g. yoga, pilates, dancing ...
